Ceiling treatment gets overlooked: the crack reflects off the ceiling directly above the hitting zone, and a couple of panels or a hung blanket there noticeably softens the room. What this whole category does not do is meaningfully protect the neighbors; absorption reduces the energy in the room by some margin, but a determined driver strike still excites the structure.
