Full Review
The Orange Whip is the swing trainer most teaching pros keep in their bag. It is a soft, flexible shaft with a weighted ball on the end and a counterweight in the grip. If you rush from the top or throw your hands at the ball, the shaft bends out of sync and you feel it at once. Swing it smoothly and it loads and unloads in rhythm. That makes it a good warm-up tool and a good way to groove tempo on days you cannot hit balls. You swing it without a ball, so it works in a garage or backyard where a full net session is not possible, as long as you have room for a full swing. It is made in the USA and costs around $120, more than most trainers.
