The software you choose determines courses, physics, and data. Here is how the leading options compare so you can decide before buying hardware.

E6 Connect

E6 Connect is the most polished commercial option: 90+ world-famous courses, photorealistic visuals, multiplayer, and compatibility with most launch monitors via API. Subscription-based pricing (/year to /year depending on course count). The go-to choice for premium home simulators and commercial installations. Physics engine is excellent; ball flight and green speed feel accurate.

GSPro

GSPro has become the community favorite for tech-savvy users. Large library of user-created courses (7,000+), realistic physics, active developer community, and a one-time purchase model. No fancy graphics compared to E6, but gameplay feel is exceptional. Compatible with most launch monitors. Best value per dollar if course count matters to you.

TGC 2019

The Golf Club 2019 (TGC2019) is the predecessor to E6 in terms of course design tools. Still has an active community and a large course catalog. Physics are solid. No longer in active development, but stable and affordable on the secondary market. A reasonable budget choice for users who do not need the latest graphics.
